Who I Am

I am a psychotherapist with over 19 years’ experience in mental health, in a variety of settings. I deliver research based psychological therapies, designed to improve mental health difficulties. I work with a focus, which is entirely based on the individuals’ needs, so that psychological therapies can be delivered with flexibility, within a safe and nurturing therapeutic relationship, at a sustainable pace that fosters change.  

I have extensive experience in teaching and supervision at the University of Edinburgh, and I also offer online clinical supervision in Child and Adolescent CBT.

Accreditation with BABCP and The Professional Standards Authority are important, as psychotherapy is not a regulated or protected profession. Accreditation with recognised professional bodies such as BABCP and the PSA ensures that a practitioner is a legitimate psychotherapist, who is qualified and adheres to the highest standards of practice required to maintain professional accreditations.
